Class Overview

Need some fresh air?  Have fun in your own backyard with a grilling class you organize or give to someone who needs help with outdoor cooking for Mother's or Father's Day, a birthday gift, a corporate get together, or as a Christmas or  Hanukkah gift.  

1. Classes run 2-2.5 hours in the safety and privacy of your home.  We bring all the food based on what you want to learn to cook better.  Food cost is additional but we only charge the actual cost of the food with receipts.  Most classes the food cost equals out close to the cost of one guest.  
2. You need to have a working gas grill, charcoal, pellet, or wood BBQ, or smoker.
3. You supply plates, utensils, and beverages.
4. We will cook one of each:  appetizer, main dish, side dish, dessert.
5. Prices are based on the group size of 2 people at $135 each person plus food cost, 3 at $125 per person plus food cost, 4 at $115  each plus food, and 5 guests at $105 per person plus food cost.  For 6 -30 people at $95 per person plus food cost food after the first 5 at $105 each plus food.  
6. Additional nominal travel fee applies outside of the South Charlotte area.  To get the exact amount if applicable please email your address to ernie@erniesbbq.com.  
7. PLEASE NOTE:  CLASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE PURCHASED AND MUST BE SCHEDULED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF PURCHASE BEFORE EXPIRATION.
8. Once a class date is scheduled and confirmed, the class and all classes are rain or shine.  Rescheduling is only allowed at our discretion and a rescheduling fee starting at $125 will apply.  
9. Classes are usually held weeknights (Mon-Wed.)  Limited Thurs, Fri and Sun nights available at additional $110 cost.  Bookings are at least 4-6 weeks out.
10. Please note that we CANNOT SCHEDULE classes with kids under 12 years old and present for safety and adult enjoyment reasons.  
11. If you don't have a grill we can bring one at additional cost.
